and now together with OneMain Financial, we’re thrilled to put together a championship-caliber team for him in 2016. Off-track, JRM is looking forward to developing a mutually benefi cial partnership with OneMain Financial and one that will help further their brand.” While cutting Smith from the team was a diffi cult decision, JRM’s future looks bright with the addition of Sadler. But, Sadler won’t be the only driver joining JRM in 2016. Only three weeks after Sadler was announced as a new driver, JRM welcomed 2009 Rookie of the Year Justin Allgaier to the team. “I’m honored and excited to drive for JR Motorsports,” Allgaier said. “Having the ability to come to the track every week with a car capable of winning races and ultimately run for the XFINITY Series championship is the opportunity of a lifetime. And, to have the support of Brandt as we move to JR Motorsports means a lot to me, personally and professionally. It’s now time to get those Brandt colors back up front and try to bring home a championship that they so very much deserve.” Allgaier has three victories, 29 top fi ves and 84 top 10s, but hasn’t raced in the series since 2013. However, like Sadler, he brought sponsorship with him. Allgaier’s sponsor Brandt will continue to sponsor him for 18 races in 2016. “We set high goals and we aim to lead in everything we do,” said Brandt president Rick Brandt. “We see a partnership with JRM as the next logical step for our brand. The resources JRM provides, both on and off the track, will continue to build our business, engage growers and tell the positive story of agriculture.” Allgaier, who hasn’t had much success in the Sprint Cup Series, spent the last two years driving for HScott Motorsports. And, even though signing with JRM meant returning to the XFINITY Series, he realized the potential for a powerful partnership. “JR Motorsports is privileged to bring Brandt and Justin back into the XFINITY Series,” Earnhardt Miller said. “Much like JRM, Brandt is also a family business that prides itself on being an industry leader. Justin Allgaier forms one-half of the new-look lineup for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. “JR MOTORSPORTS IS PRIVILEGED TO BRING BRANDT AND JUSTIN BACK INTO THE XFINITY SERIES.” —Kelley Earnhardt Miller, co-owner and general manager of JRM. In October, team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. announced that Elliott Sadler was joining JR Motorsports. ANTHEM MOTORSPORTS ANNUAL 141
